While all of my masks are special, Hope is particularly endearing to me. She was comissioned by Relay For Life -- a fundraising organization for breast cancer. She'll be auctioned of to raise money for the cause. I feel quite honored that she will be sold for such a good reason.
Hope was created of papier mache, paper pulp, plaster gauze and marble paste, painted in acrylics and adorned with silk flowers, ribbons, shredded acrylic ribbon for hair and faux eyelashes.
It would only be fitting if she fetched quite sum at the auction. Her name is also very appropriate, considering who she's being sold for. You do such excellent work!

It's so nice to see good christian girls imitate bible characters. Oh look, there goes a Mary Magdalene. Ain't she cute?
I adore the colours. For some reason there's a medieval feel to this that makes me all gooey. I can't even begin to take in the detail, love and effort that must have gone into this. The highest praise I can give is that I'd wear this with pleasure. Gorgeous stuff - you have so much talent.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
