Artist's Comments

While all of my masks are special, Hope is particularly endearing to me. She was comissioned by Relay For Life -- a fundraising organization for breast cancer. She'll be auctioned of to raise money for the cause. I feel quite honored that she will be sold for such a good reason.

Hope was created of papier mache, paper pulp, plaster gauze and marble paste, painted in acrylics and adorned with silk flowers, ribbons, shredded acrylic ribbon for hair and faux eyelashes.

She's stunning.

It would only be fitting if she fetched quite sum at the auction. Her name is also very appropriate, considering who she's being sold for. You do such excellent work!

It's so nice to see good christian girls imitate bible characters. Oh look, there goes a Mary Magdalene. Ain't she cute?

I adore the colours. For some reason there's a medieval feel to this that makes me all gooey. ;p I can't even begin to take in the detail, love and effort that must have gone into this. The highest praise I can give is that I'd wear this with pleasure. Gorgeous stuff - you have so much talent. :)
